In Memoriam - Wilbert "Wibo" Boles

 It is with great sadness that we note the passing of our President and fellow Brother Wibo.

This was after a sudden and serious illness took him sooner than we expected.

Wibo had been essential to the Brotherhood of Diversity since we started and was involved in all aspects in the community from the food pantries to the police, to the local artists;

Here is is shown after bringing pizza to the police to thank them for their help with an event:

His work with those with challenges represented his work with LARC and he looked forward to taking groups to Central Basketball games and the basketball hall of fame:

The latest event we did was the March Against Hunger, where we were raising money and collecting food for the food banks and shelters around town.

He was known as the unofficial "Mayor of Torrington" and the list of organizations he was involved in is amazing, from WAPJ to being a First Responder.

We will not see someone like him again.
